Edith (known as Mutti to her family) was born in Gillingham, Kent on June 12, 1918. She is much loved and will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. Mum was a caring and loving mother and friend to all of her family Corinne, Lesley and Trevor, her two grandsons, Jamie and Alex who were all with her at the end. We are thankful for her healthy and happy life. She passed away peacefully at 4:55 pm on Friday 27th July 2007 at Southampton General Hospital.

Is was a very sad time for us all, but also one that showed how lucky we were to have had her for our Mother and friend. No matter what scrapes or problems we got into over the years she was always there for us - a stalwart rock of love and dependability. Our eternal love and gratitude are our only gift was can give in return.
